Betrayal Of America Part 4 is about Donald Trump and how the No Accountability System in American politics brought us to this dark time for our country and the world.
Americans, we witnessed the greatest failure of federal law enforcement in our country’s history. I state that because Donald Trump was not held criminally accountable for leading an insurrection on our Capitol on January 6, 2021, and now has a second term as President.
During Trump’s first term, I created this meme. I never thought it would come true, however. The lawlessness and disrespect for the Constitution are on full display starting with Day One of Donald Trump’s second term.
It saddens me, yet I am determined to write about what my research confirms.
Have you asked yourself this question: How is it possible that a twice-impeached president, tax evader, sexual abuser, a convicted felon who led an attack on our Capitol, could be elected for a second term as President of the United States (POTUS)?
If you are a Trump supporter, would you have voted for a Democratic candidate who was found guilty of those exact charges?
Americans have been conditioned to expect little from their representative politicians. Some essential facts voters should consider for the 2026 Midterm elections are:
- Those who got into politics to help you and your family.
- Those who got into politics to advance their careers and enrich themselves.
- I have observed that Republicans excuse all of Trump’s unprofessional behavior and law-breaking, justify any wrongdoing, and constantly blame the Democrats for all our country’s problems.
- In the short time Trump has been in office since he was elected a second time, 200+ lawsuits have already been filed. The Democrats are not responsible for Donald Trump’s unwillingness to honor the Constitution and the Rule of Law. Here we go again.
If you want to figure out who Trump is, ask yourself this question: What would a celebrity do?
In my opinion, the real Donald Trump is a Celebrity Apprentice President, always ready to perform, tantrum post, and create fear and drama, rather than solve problems that improve the quality of life for all Americans and earn respect from the rest of the world.
The meme below is how he sees himself. Invincible.
Trump is not shy about bragging about how rich he is and that he craves wealth, power, and admiration at any cost. He thinks of himself as a Superhero with a mission to “Christianize” our country and save the world.
One thing he didn’t lie about is Americans have been screwed for decades by people just like him and his Billionaire Buddies who do not think they should pay their fair share of taxes or any taxes at all.
Just look at the Cabinet he put together to help 99% of Americans. Who’s not a millionaire or a billionaire? I’m sure the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, and the rest of Trump’s Billionaire Brothel do not care about the 60% of Americans who live paycheck to paycheck.
You never hear Republicans talk about a livable wage because they think the rest of us can survive on $7.25 an hour. Talk about a trickle.
The truth is that all the cruel cuts Trump and Musk made illegally continue to hurt the most vulnerable Americans and their families. Where’s the Christianity in that?
Allan Lichtman, historian, describes our democracy’s current hot mess with total accuracy. “Republicans have no principles. Democrats have no spine.”
For the last decade, the American people have endured numerous investigative journalist articles about Donald Trump lying, breaking the law, not honoring his Oath to the Constitution, disregarding norms and traditions.
By the way, if a politician breaks an oath, a norm, or a tradition, there is also no legal accountability. Just another ethical loophole for politicians.
There are thousands of fact-checked articles and videos that have shown every American who is open to the truth that Donald Trump does not live as a Christian, and he has been above the law all his life.
I recall when Ruth Bader Ginsburg stated that the worst law the Supreme Court ever passed was Citizens United, marking the birth of Dark Money and the selling out of Americans and their families. So true.
Because of Corporations United (Not Citizens United), the highest undisclosed foreign or domestic bidder has the power to buy POTUS, SCOTUS, politicians, and hijack the democratic process.
And Trump is reaping all the illegal and unearned financial rewards. The No Accountability System failed again.
I wonder how much all those lawsuits and weekly golf outings are costing the American taxpayer? What about the big military display for Trump’s birthday? DOGE never mentioned those because its purpose was never about government fraud and abuse.
DOGE was established to create chaos, cruelty, distraction, and destruction of the institutions that help support the American people.
Did Trump Win Or Were These The Real Winners?
Corruption, MAGA, White Supremacy, Hate, Grievance, Christian Nationalists, Project 2025, the Billionaires and corporate-paid lobbyists writing loophole legislation, the White Evangelical Patriarchy, American Corporate Media (especially FOX News which is the clearinghouse for The White Supremist agenda), Propaganda on Right Wing platforms and Social Media Platforms, Apathy, Kleptocracy, Misogyny, Xenophobia, Mitch McConnell, the United States Justice and Legislative systems failures, and Supreme Court Conservative Justices. These forces and failures combined have collectively sabotaged Democracy and betrayed America’s future.
The mission of Project 2025 is to overturn the Constitution of the United States, seize power, institute Christian Nationalism, and establish an Authoritarian Dictatorship. If you voted for Trump, did you take the time to read it?
My suggestion is to make informed decisions using credible news sources about any Presidential or Political candidate, so FAFO does not become yours and your family’s reality.

SCOTUS ENABLERS
How convenient and politically self-serving that the Conservative Justices on the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. In Congressional hearings, they said they would not overturn that law, but the first chance they got, they did.
It is the Republican pattern of deception. Say one thing but do the opposite because there will be no accountability.
Justice Clarence Thomas, Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr., Justice Neil M. Gorsuch, Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh, and Justice Coney Barrett (only the Republican Justices) overturned Roe v. Wade on July 7, 2022.
Once again, women were told that they do not have the right to make difficult and often heartbreaking medical decisions for their baby and their own well-being. Trump was happy to take all the credit for it.
Women have died and will continue to die because of these six people, and their painful deaths on many levels (could be mother and baby) are their fault. “Thou shalt not kill” also includes mothers. Their decision, based on their personal beliefs and not on the law, will forever be on their souls.
Then there was their partisan decision that presidents should be immune from prosecution for alleged crimes they committed while serving in office. You can’t get more above the law than that.
Dear World, Know This
Millions of Americans are massively protesting Donald Trump, the Cult of Trump (which used to be the Party of Lincoln), and Fascism. We see what MAGA, Christian Nationalists, and the Conservative SCOTUS are doing, and it won’t work anymore.
Unexpected Enablers
Any political party (Democrats) that impeaches the same president twice but then is too cowardly or ineffective in having that president immediately removed from office does not deserve to represent the Americans who voted for them.
Any political party (Republicans) that allows a tax evader, a sexual abuser, a convicted felon, and an insurrectionist who watched innocent people be beaten and some died during the attack on our Capitol on January 6, 2021, to be their presidential candidate does not deserve to represent the Americans who voted for them. That party also has no business writing laws.
Any political party (Republicans) that excuses Trump’s behavior, justifies his lawlessness, and then blames the Democrats does not deserve to represent the Americans who voted for them.
Any political party (Republicans) that talks a lot of trash about the Democrats but never has the receipts to prove their comments does not deserve to represent the Americans who voted for them.
The Disqualification Clause
According to Constitutional scholars and numerous attorneys, Donald Trump should not have been allowed to run for President again. Once again, Donald Trump got away with no accountability.
The 14th Amendment, Article 3 states:
The decision by the Conservative Supreme Court Justices not to validate this section of the Constitution so that Trump could run again is a massive betrayal. The English is clear, and so is their bias.
In my opinion, those Justices should be immediately removed from their lifetime positions since they chose not to honor the Constitution of the United States. Apparently, the Supreme and Mighty think they are above the law, too.
Trump also successfully delayed every single court case using “election interference” so the truth would not come out before the 2024 election. And the Courts are responsible for granting all the delays.
Delay. Delay. Delay. Justice delayed is justice denied. Works every time for Donald Trump, with no accountability.
The Kiss Of Death For Democrats
We the People, the world, and Donald Trump watched the January 6, 2021, violent attack on our Capitol that he directed and later called a “Day of Love”.
Attorney General Merrick Garland and President Joe Biden had the opportunity to act swiftly on behalf of our Democracy and the American people, but did not.
In true spineless fashion, Merrick Garland waited nearly two years after Trump incited the riot at the Capitol before he appointed Jack Smith. At Garland’s direction, Jack Smith was instructed to start the investigation from the bottom up instead of the top down. Two big mistakes.
The Democrats were not prepared to meet this horrific moment in our history. The Republicans know that about “their colleagues across the aisle” and use that weakness every time to their total advantage.
The Democratic leadership did not secure Democracy from 2020 to 2024. Even after the January 6 destruction of our Capitol!
The Kiss Of Death For Republicans
On January 20, 2025, on the first day of his second term, Donald Trump pardoned more than 1,500 people convicted of offenses regarding the January 6, 2021, attack not only on our Capitol but also on fellow Americans.
The Republicans knew Trump was going to take that action. What an unforgivable betrayal of the Rule of Law and patriotism.
It is so evident that all Republicans want is money and power, and will sell their souls to get it. For those of us who read the Bible, we know what is true and what is an angry man-made interpretation. Never again will I vote Republican.
The Reasons The Democrats Lost In 2024
Remember when Donald Trump claimed he could “stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and not lose any voters.”
The Democrats should have started their Save American Democracy Plan the minute that video was shown repeatedly in the news during Trump’s first term.
Any party leadership that cannot develop a winning strategy to elect two of the most qualified candidates ever to run for President, Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris, needs to be replaced by those who know how.
Let the Democratic candidates be themselves and be chosen by the base, not an out-of-touch consultant group. They got it wrong too many times.
One Democratic woman activist said, “We were promised a one-term President in Joe Biden. They had four years to build a winning candidate campaign and make a plan, but they didn’t. Meanwhile, the Republicans continued building Project 2025. They had a game plan. Where is ours? Where is a comprehensive plan by the Democrats?”
The Democrats actually had eight years to build solidarity with a winning message and have a plan for a possible Trump second term. Surely, they knew he would do everything in his power and spend any amount of money to stay out of jail.
What did the Democrats do, however? They again lived up to the prediction by historian Allan Lichtman. No Spine. No Plan. No Five Alarm Fire. The Voters Will Save Us.
I believe that both parties were responsible for the poor turnout, but only one party lost. Trump fatigue, voter apathy, and the Democrats’ lack of courage to charge Donald Trump for inciting the violent Jan 6 attack on our Capitol cost Democrats the 2024 election.
Old Politics Will Not Lead Us To A New Progressive Future
The Democratic establishment elites prioritize their funders just like the Republicans do to keep their cushy positions with no accountability for decades, without solving America’s most pressing problems.
According to the results of the 2024 election, most Americans voted for a husband who cheated on his wife while she was pregnant and paid off the porn star. Trump was found guilty of tax fraud, being a sexual abuser, a convicted felon, and led an insurrection against our country. Yet, Trump still won over the Democratic Party candidates.
Crickets from the Democrats about how that could have happened.
As Trump and Musk took a chainsaw to our freedoms and institutions, here’s the plan the Democratic elites came up with based on magical thinking: Roll over and play dead. Go along to get along. What don’t they get about Fascism and who their Republican colleagues truly are?
According to a May 8, 2025, article in Just the News, “the Democrats’ party rating in a Pew Research national survey in April 2025 showed 60% of respondents viewed Democrats unfavorably, and 38% viewed them favorably. According to Democratic Senator Chris Murphy, he believes his party’s approval rating is “in the toilet”.
According to a May 1-18, 2025, Gallup poll, Donald Trump’s approval rating is higher at 43%, and his disapproval rating is 53%.
Octogenarians, thank you for your service, but it is time to pass the reins. Let the courageous, young, experienced, bright, emerging leaders take the lead for a better future that all Americans deserve.
The fact that freedom and equality for all Americans are still a struggle we have yet to win after 249 years is an indefensible failure of both parties that impacts generations of American citizens.
Both parties had 249 years to modernize the laws to hold all corrupt Presidents and Politicians legally accountable, including those who committed crimes, but did not. I think millions of Americans want to know why not?
The Big Difference Between The Two Parties
History shows that there is one constant difference between the two parties. Democrats have a better track record because they are committed to helping all Americans. When they are in the lead, you do get something back that benefits you and your family.
Republicans are lured to a career in politics for different reasons. They are loyal to their funders instead of their constituents, so they can enrich their careers.
They spend most of their time passing laws to force every American to live, think, and worship like them, and prioritize taking civil and voting rights away from women and minority groups.
You’ll never hear this from Republicans, but here’s what you can thank a Democrat for. These are some of the things Project 2025 and the Republicans think Americans do not deserve.
What Each Party Stands For

During one of those moments on tour, Bernie Sanders told the crowd, “The Democratic Party needs a major transformation. It can no longer be a top-down, Billionaire-funded, consultant-driven party. It must be a multi-generational, multi-racial, working-class party.”

Although Trump claims to be a Populist with his anti-Washington messaging, his policies sure are unpopular. The never-ending mass protests show that Americans are waking up to how his lies, false promises, and fake Christianity deceived them. No wonder he didn’t want to debate anybody.
Betrayal is never an accident. It is intended to harm, deceive, and break trust. Lies are betrayals. Promises are cheap. A President or any politician who lies to you does not respect you. Like every malignant narcissist, Donald Trump only loves himself.

I never understood how anyone could believe more in someone they had never met, who had lied to them over 30,573 times, instead of trusting their close friends and family members. That phenomenon, in addition to all I wrote above, is the reason why our nation is in turmoil.
Trump made one fateful error. He thinks Americans are weak, passive people, and all Americans love him like his cult does more than freedom.
Government policies disproportionately impact vulnerable people and families, either positively or negatively, depending on which party is in power. My family and many other families I know and have worked with are examples.
Even before my life with Hayes, I had never been good with injustice or people who judge others without knowing anything about them.
Because of my only child’s chronic and progressive physical disability and incurable disease, and the discrimination our family experienced, I most likely would have remained ignorant of the never-ending pain of my son being referred to as a burden, disrespected, and treated less than.
Sincerely, I want what is best for our country. I know this, however, that hate, misinformation, division, and Fascism never made any nation great.
Use your superpowers, your voice, and your vote to restore the America we were destined to be!
